TG 508 is a piston - rod guide strip designed to be used in heavy duty hydraulic and pneumatic systems

APPLICATION
Mobile hydraulics , excavators , mining equipment , marine hydraulics , presses and heavy duty cylinders.

INSTALLATION:

Easily mounted in the housing by hand. To install the TG must be oiled with the oil system.

NOTE: We advise you to cut the strip for use in a 30 ° angle.

The length of the strip can be calculated by means of the PI of formula:

For a piston circumference minus one times the thickness e.g.

  • Piston dia 100 mm = 100-2.5 = 97.5x3.1415 = 306 296 mm length = 30.63 cm length

For a rod circumference plus one times the thickness e.g.

  • Rod dia 100 mm = 100 + 2.5 = 102.5x3.1415 = 322.004 mm Length = 32.2 cm length


Note: The permissible sealing gap values of TG strip is indicated in the table below.

Note: The largest sealing gap value occurring on the non-pressurized side of the seal does have a vital importance for the function of the seal and in this respect it is quite important to use the S value lower than the above indicated numbers.
