BUFFERSEAL is a two piece single acting seal which consists of one special designed elastomeric sealing element for to evacuatethe back pressure and one thermoplastic back-up ring.

APPLICATION:

Construction machinery , fork-lift trucks , injection moulding machines , agricultural machinery , loading platforms and standard cylinders

INSTALLATION:

Easy to install in closed grooves. If'm assembly tools are used the mounting area should not have any sharp edges. Before mounting the BUFFER SEAL must be lubricated with oil system.

NOTES: BUFFERSEAL is always used in a sealing system in combination with groove seal (VNI, VNI-L, etc), these are not intended as a main sealing element. BUFFERSEAL reduces the pressure peaks in itself and what is important, it protects the main seal against pressure fluctuations. The values of the allowable sealing gap of the buffer seal can be found in the table below.

Note: The largest sealing gap value occurring on the non-pressurized side of the seal does have a vital importance for the function of the seal and in this respect it is quite important to use the S value lower than the above indicated numbers.
